manifestation / the law of attraction

before getting into the concept of manifestation, i think it’s important to acknowledge 2 things; the first being the importance of giving credits to the Hindu roots of this spiritual law. today, a lot of the spirituality we see on our socials has been whitewashed, and actually has roots in eastern philosophies like Buddhism and Hinduism: roots which are important to acknowledge in conversations about concepts such as manifestation.

secondly, the idea that manifestation = writing down your crush’s name in a notebook 3000 times doesn’t seem completely right. in my opinion, writing things down over and over without any real action behind it, or without even believing in what you're trying to attract, won't work on its own. for sure, write things down if it helps you visualise a goal, but don't expect that to attract things to you instantaneously. when you really start believing in your own potential and dreams, the things you attract adjust accordingly.

i think it's verrrry true that if you see something you wanna reach and match the vibration of that goal, it'll manifest in your life; but not always in the ways you might think. that's why an openness is also important when tryna go about this; have a strong vision of what you want your life to look like, but not too set in stone that you might turn away from paths that might end up taking you to exactly where you wanna go.

even in a more everyday sense, the power we have to manifest is obvious, and can also definitely apply to negativity; things you may not truly wanna attract. for example, if, in your mind, you're constantly conjuring up fake negative scenarios, even the best opportunities might go unseen. simultaneously, you might even attract negativity and bad energies instead. we all definitely have experiences like this; a day starts off badly, we’re in a bad mood. as a result, the things we experience throughout the day are perceived as irritating, and it can seem that God is somehow plotting against us. really, though, what we see is just a reflection of ourselves.

if you're looking for things to complain about, best believe you'll find them. and vice versa; if you believe in blessings, opportunity and positivity, they'll be attracted to you.

i’ve got a lot more to learn about this; what i've learnt so far though is so important; don't let yourself become comfortable in the lower energies or constant negativity. instead, familiarise yourself with your happiness and match the vibrations you’re tryna be on. it’s kinda the cheat code.
